Requirements:
  • Insistence on a consistent and responsive user experience
  • Mastery of iPhone, Android, and/or Blackberry technologies (Objective C, Cocoa, Java, iPhone SDK, Android SDK)
  • Command of your favorite modern programming language: Python, Ruby, Java, C++, etc.
  • Test-driven Development
  • Excitement about the challenges of internationalization
  • Comfortable working in a Unix environment

Sr. Mobile Application Developer with a passion for developing applications on the Google Android and Apple iOS plaforms.
This position will lead development for both internal and client projects. This includes but is not limited to: application and architectural development, requirements gathering, functional specification, and documentation.
This position will be responsible for ideation, application architecture, and code development of mobile applications for the Android and iOS platforms (mobile phone and tablet). Building scalable and collaborative application frameworks for mobile application and management of applications submitted to the Android Market and/or iTunes store.
Qualifications
 Bachelor's Degree required. This requirement will be waived if candidate has 6+ years of programming experience in the PC, Internet or console game/application industry. Knowledge of software engineering techniques. Extensive experience with Proficiency in Java, C++ , C. Objective C (iOS) experience is a plus.
 Experience in writing native Android and/or iOS applications on mobile phones and/or tablets
 Solid experience in collaborative application development using source control tools such as
SVN and/or Git and strategies for using source control such as trunks, branches, merges,
tagging, release management methods, etc.
 Proven experience in interfacing with API’s and web services. Social platform integration with
Twitter, Facebook, and others is a plus.
 Proven collaboration skills and the ability to work in efficient, small teams. Candidate should
have solid communication and presentation skills with the ability to fill in as a technical
evangelist when needed.
 An eye for design details and user experience.
 Extensive experience with technical architecture, design and requirements documentation.
 Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
 Ability to write clear, well‐organized code architect and write reusable library code for the team
of developers. Architect and design code and systems for mobile applications.
 Communicate with supervisor or project manager either verbally, through email, or by attending
team meetings on the status of current projects.
 Must be highly motivated with the ability to work on multiple initiatives with a high degree of
flexibility.
 Communicate with supervisor or project manager to determine timeline, budget and resource
allocation required by the projects in line with the overall strategy.
 Participate in brain storming sessions for original application ideas.
